This notice explains what happens to personal information you send us via this website. It is written for customers and visitors in the UK. It is not a substitute for legal advice if you need a longer policy for other purposes.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form (or email/phone us using the details on this site), we may collect:

• Name and contact details (phone, email)
• Address or postcode, and preferred visit times
• Job type and the message you write about the work needed
• Any photos or extra details you later send by email

We do not ask for payment card details on this website. This site does not run a customer account login.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to:

• Reply to you and arrange a visit or quote
• Carry out electrical work you ask us to do
• Keep basic records of jobs and communications where needed for the work
• Meet legal or insurance obligations that apply to electrical work

We do not sell your details, and we do not use enquiry data for unrelated marketing lists.

Lawful basis

Under UK GDPR, we typically rely on legitimate interests (responding to people who contact a local trade business) and, where we take on work, steps needed before a contract or performance of a contract. Sometimes we process information because we have a legal obligation (for example keeping certain job records).

Form processing

The website enquiry form is delivered by email using a third-party email provider (Resend), via a server function on our host. Your message is sent to EugEnergy so we can reply. Resend processes the submission as a service provider; their own privacy terms also apply to that transfer.

This site is a static brochure site. We do not store form submissions in our own website database.

Cookies and analytics

This marketing site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics that we control. Your browser may still keep normal technical data needed to load pages (for example cache). If we add analytics later, we will update this notice.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails and related messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-on work, and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records, insurance, or legal reasons. If you only asked a one-off question and no work goes ahead, we will not keep your details longer than necessary for that exchange.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only when needed. For example with the form-email provider that delivers your enquiry, or with insurers, certification schemes, or other professionals if that is required for the job. We do not share your enquiry for others to market to you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to restrict or object to certain processing, where those rights apply. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your information: ico.org.uk.
